I am starting my reading for fall with Sensory Integration and the Child by A. Jean Ayres. This is the seminal work/ theory developed in the 60's and 70's by Dr. Ayres, which describes how we all react to environmental stimuli. Although this is an older text, it is always important to look back at what has been done in the past. I'm looking forward to developing my knowledge in this important of area of practice.
